Christmas, birthdays and Balls..................

This week I have been getting ready for the Christmas fairs.  These lovely cakes are going to the Dolphinholme Christmas Fair tomorrow which is held in the village hall from 11am to 1pm.  Come over and have a look there a lots of gift stalls......a perfect place to get bespoke Christmas presents from.

I have also made cakes for a 64th Birthday this week and a dinner party that we went to on Wednesday evening.

This week also saw the second courier delivery of the Giant Cupcakes.

This one has just arrived in Kent this morning and is for an Eventer's Ball this evening.......lovely yummy vanilla sponge with jam and butter cream frosting.  Modelled on the winner of tonight's prizes and bought as a surprise from a very good friend.

I am taking orders for Christmas now and the cupcakes make lovely gifts or treats for friends and family.  This next week I will be getting 500 cupcakes ready for the Garstang Victorian Evening on the 10th and 11th December.......:))))

Christmas is only 34 sleeps away......Don't delay order today :)

Well Christmas is approaching fast and this week it is the local school fair so I am donating some cakes for their raffle and some for them to sell as well.   I have been experimenting with my snowflakes and pastel shades and think they look very lovely.  I then used the traditional Christmas colours and made the ones below.   I am taking orders for Christmas now so why not treat someone with a box of wonderful seasonal cakes from Jeni's Cupcakes.  Contact Jeni for more details.

I have also been playing around with some new designs too.  The spotty ones above are some of my new ones and the bows below are in my new range too.

I am developing a 'Vintage' range of cakes to improve my skills and this look is awesome :)  Even if I say so myself!!!!

So watch this space for my new cakes :)))

Sparkles and beach cakes .......

This week has been a frenzie of Giant Cupcakes!!!!!!!  The above one was made for an 18th birthday and presented to her in the restaurant.  The girl is into fashion so I decorated it with handbags, shoes, hats and dresses, intermingled with pink sweets and finished off with lots of sparkles on the top.  The picture below is of it half way through with the rose icing just done.  This cake is a chocolate chip.

Next on the agenda was the beach scene below, made for someone from the Horse and Hound Forum for their friends birthday.  Once a year they go on a beach ride and this was modelled from last years photographs.  This was the first cake that I have sent via courier and it went all the way to Perthshire in Scotland.....and arrived in one piece......which means the world is now my oyster and anyone can order a Giant Cupcake :))))  This was scrummy chocolate.

This cake I have just delivered this morning to another lady from the Horse and Hound Forum again for her friends bithday tomorrow.   This was modelled again from a photograph of her eventing.  There is obviously a lot of chocoholics out there as this was a chocolate  cake too!!
